Meet our Maxi-Cosi Titan
The Titan is a multi-stage, forward-facing, R44 car seat with the focus on comfort and durability as it can be used for children from 9 - 36 kg (approx. 9 months up to 12 years). The combination of the ISOFIX installation system and the top-thether allows a secure and solid connection to your car's seat, as well as assuring extra stability. To find out whether your car has ISOFIX, please check the car's manual or check your car seats for the ISOFIX label or logo. ISOFIX is an internationally standardised car seat fitting system that reduces the risk of installing the seat incorrectly compared to using only seat belts.
Multi-age use
The car seat can be converted to fit your little one's needs. For the first stage you use the cushioned baby inlay with 5-point safety harness to keep your baby safe and snug. As your child grows, you can easily extend the backrest and harness simultaneously according to the child's height by pulling the tab attached to the headrest. The 5-point safety harness can be used up until 18 kg (approx. 4 years), after which your child is ready to use the Titan as a child booster seat with the car's 3-point seat belt. The adjustable headrest can be set to 11 different height levels.
Extra comfort
Nothing is more important than your child's comfort. In addition to the adjustable headrest and safety harness, the car seat offers 5 different recline positions up to approx 4 years. Whether your child wants to relax or look outside the window during your travel, the Titan makes it possible. As soon as you will use the Titan as a booster seat, it will be in a fixed upright position. Together with the cushioned inlay and padded child seat that make for extra comfort, traveling becomes (almost) easy!
Practical information
You install the car seat with ISOFIX by pushing out the ISOFIX anchorages from the RodiFix AirProtect completely and slide these into the ISOFIX connecters in the seat of your car. The base should click from both connectors, followed by an extra push against the seat. Lastly, you can install the seat belt following the belt guide system and you are ready to go!
